Pleasanton, Texas-Tristan Mize made the short trip west from his home in Bryan to the 49th Annual Pleasanton Cowboy Homecoming Bull Riding this weekend with no idea he would leave the event with so much money and hardware. Mize picked up checks in the Long Go-Round, Championship Round and won the Aggregate Title for a grand total of: $3,850.00 in weekend earnings. With his win in the Championship Round he also garnered a trophy belt buckle for his collection.

The high marked ride on the weekend was made by Gonzales, Texas bull rider Zach Miles who rode Sosa Buckers’s 04 “Blake” for 89.5 points in the Long Go-Round to win $1400.00 on the weekend. Miles was awarded a buckle for his Long Go-Round win.

The event also boasted the presence of Comfort, Texas cowboy Reid Barker who qualified for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo this year. Barker rode both of his bulls to finish 3rd in the Aggregate and pocket $1,350.00.
