Results*: Lexington CPRA

Lexington, TX-May 4, 2014-A capacity crowd filled the stands for both nights of the Lee County Texas Stars 4-H Horse Club CPRA Rodeo. This year marked the second consecutive year that the Texas Stars 4-H Club has hosted this event and it was definitely a “jam up deal.” The field was packed with top of the line competitors, to include eight time PRCA World Champion Joe Beaver. In addition to competing in the Team Roping, with heeler Reno Gonzales, Beaver took up a microphone and provided color commentary during the tie-down roping.

The event also hosted five time Wrangler National Finals Steer Wrestler-Matt Reeves; as well as eight time PRCA World Champion-Fred Whitfield. In the end, a great cause raised a great deal of money while the rodeo fans of Lexington, Texas were thoroughly entertained. The next stop on the Diamond Cross Rodeo 2014 “Shoot to Thrill” Tour will be in Lockhart, Texas for the Chisholm Trail Roundup June 12-14, 2014.
