The Hill Country Fair Association’s 78th Annual Summer Classic Bull Riding event is set to take place this weekend (August 9-10, 2013) in Junction, Texas. One of the great traditions of this event is the raising of the American Flag upon “Lover’s Leap” during the National Anthem. This year’s event will also feature the comedy stylings of the “Boogey Man” himself, Leon Coffee.

Produced by the J.D. Nix Rodeo Company, the bull riding boasts $3,000.00 in added money each night to attract the best riders on “either side of the Pecos.”
